Yes, it is told in Christopher Andersen's book, "Barbra: The Way She Is" It is a very interesting book and it tells about Elvis and Barbra in the part where the pictures are held.

Did Elvis Presley really paint Barbra Streisand’s toenail when he went backstage on one of her vegas concerts?
It’s written in some biographies that Elvis knelt down and did just that. Was it ever denied or confirmed? Just asking this for fun.
